AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is happy with the support of owner Gerry Cardinale.
Cardinale spoke yesterday about his pride over the way the Rossoneri have kicked off the new season.
Ahead of the weekend derby against Inter Milan, Pioli said: "We are very pleased with Cardinale's interest in us.
"The qualities of a leader are to help those who are available to grow. I spoke with him in person in the matches against Chelsea. What we have shown in these first matches is positive, then we must continue on the path of physicality, rhythm and intensity."
He added, "I want Milan to play like Milan, to play with passion and heart. Tomorrow the real season begins and we want to be protagonists."
