David Raya makes his Arsenal debut in their Premier League clash with Everton at Goodison Park. The Spanish international has remained exclusively on the bench since arriving on loan from Brentford last month, but comes in to replace Aaron Ramsdale today.
He is one of two changes in the Gunners lineup as Fabio Vieira comes in to replace Kai Havertz in central midfield. The German is yet to convince since his summer arrival from Chelsea, while Vieira has impressed off the bench against Fulham and Manchester United this season.
Up front meanwhile Eddie Nketiah keeps his starting spot. Gabriel Jesus is fit again after having surgery on a knee issue in July. Arteta has opted to stick with Nketiah however, who was called up to the England senior squad for the first time over the international break.
Gabriel Magalhaes meanwhile is fit to start the match. There had been some fears over the Brazilian's fitness after he was pictured holding an ice pack on his thigh during the international break. He is however, ready to play alongside William Saliba at the back. Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko meanwhile are the full backs.
Declan Rice starts at the base of the midfield while Martin Odegaard captains the side. Out wide is Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. Emile Smith Rowe, Reiss Nelson, Jorginho, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Jakub Kiwior and Leandro Trossard meanwhile complete a strong-looking bench for Arsenal.
