Arsenal fans have reiterated their love for Mesut Ozil after he took to social media to call their rivals Tottenham 'Bottle Job FC'.

Rival fans have been quick to revel in such poor form, with Ozil one of those to berate their inability to hold onto leads.

Ozil's post was met with a heap of praise from Gunners fans, with one saying alongside a laughing emoji: «You own them king.»
«Once a Gooner, always a Gooner,» added a second with a love heart.
A third said: «I thought this was a parody. MESUTTTTTT.»
«Let's all gather here to laugh at Tottenham Hotspur,» added a gleeful fourth with a number of laughing emojis.
Ozil made ten north London derby appearances for Arsenal during, scoring one goal and assisting a further three.
He left the club in 2021 for Fenerbahce before singing for Istanbul Basaksehir for a year, with the midfielder retiring in March.
The 35-year-old now sees his former club Arsenal sitting a the top of the Premier League, a position Spurs once held this season.
