Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has reaped the rewards of his state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium this summer as his winning streak continues.
After winning the Super Bowl with the LA Rams in 2021, the American businessman became the first sports team owner to win titles in three major North American sports this summer. The Denver Nuggets' NBA Finals victory in June meant he had also won four championships within the last two years.
The Kroenke Sports and Entertainment umbrella of sports clubs has also enjoyed success in the Premier League, with Arsenal back competing at the top of the Premier League table and returning to the UEFA Champions League.
The businessman continues to make money not just off his sports teams, though, but the infrastructure too. Back in 2020, Kroenke's owned SoFi Stadium, costing $5.5billion, was opened as the home for the Los Angeles Rams.
According to The Designbuild Network, the stadium is the most expensive one ever built. And as well as hosting one of the NFL's most popular teams, the surface inside the stadia has allowed Kroenke to benefit financially from hosting non-sport related events.
Throughout the summer months, the SoFi Stadium hosted nine concerts from Taylor Swift and Beyonce. According to NBC Sports' Peter King, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment netted a whopping $10million-plus from the shows.
