Arsenal's B-List remains unchanged for tonight's (Tuesday) UEFA Champions League Group B encounter against RC Lens as the Gunners aim to make it two wins from two.
Last month the north London outfit submitted their 25-man List A squad for the group stage matches with Cedric Soares somewhat of a surprise inclusion alongside highly-rated youngster Lino Sousa. However, there was no space for summer signing Jurrien Timber presumably because he is not expected to play again in 2023.
Although if the Dutchman does recover from the ACL injury sustained on his Premier League debut against Nottingham Forest across the opening weekend of the new season then he can be registered at a later date as long as Mikel Arteta's side are in European competition in the new year.
Speaking of the Arsenal manager, his options for the Lens clash have been boosted. As per UEFA guidelines: 'Each club is entitled to register an unlimited number of players on List B during the season. The list must be submitted by no later than 11pm on the day before the match in question'.
Now, a player may be registered on List B if he is born on, or after, January 1 2002 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday (players aged 16 may be submitted if they have been registered with the club for the previous two years).
The Gunners have complied with the list showing up on UEFA's official website and it shows no changes from a fortnight ago with Karl Hein included alongside some of the club's most promising youngsters such as Ethan Nwaneri, Reuell Walters, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Amario Cozier-Duberry.
