Jarrod Bowen and Ollie Watkins have been recalled to the England squad by Gareth Southgate.
The Three Lions face Australia in a friendly at Wembley on October 13 before welcoming Italy four days later in a Euro 2024 qualifier.
It comes after a hard fought 1-1 draw with Ukraine in Poland last month and the 3-1 friendly win over Scotland at Hampden Park.
Bowen’s recall comes after an excellent start to the season in which he has racked up five goals in seven for West Ham United.
However, there’s no place in Southgate’s plans for Hammers teammate James Ward Prowse.
The midfielder has been in wonderful form since arriving at the London Stadium from Southampton, scoring two goals and providing six assists in all competitions.
Ollie Watkins has also been recalled for the first time since March this years.
The Aston Villa striker has seven goals so far this term, including the hat-trick that he scored against Brighton last Saturday.
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire also makes the squad despite struggling to nail down a spot in Erik ten Hag’s plans, as does Marcus Rashford who has endured a difficult season so far with just one goal in nine appearances.
Kalvin Phillips is also included despite finding gametime hard to come by at Manchester City.
Jordan Henderson also makes the squad after the Al-Ettifaq star was named in the group for the September internationals.
