Arsenal were dealt a double injury blow on Sunday as they drew 2-2 against Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium. Leandro Trossard was left out of the matchday squad after picking up a knock in training — whilst Declan Rice was taken off at half-time with a back injury.
Bukayo Saka's deflected strike and penalty kick were cancelled out by a brace from Spurs star Son Heung-min. The Gunners maintained their unbeaten record in the Premier League so far this season — but dropped further behind Manchester City in the title race.

Mikel Arteta provides update on Declan Rice injury after Arsenal star forced off vs Tottenham
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has suggested that he is hopeful that Declan Rice's suspected injury isn't a long-term issue after he was forced off in the Gunners' 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
The England international was forced to withdraw from the Gunners' first North London Derby of the 2023/24 season at half-time. He was replaced by Jorginho — who played an unfortunate role in Spurs' second equaliser.
Rice is understood to have returned to the substitute bench with tape around his calf, but after the game Arteta hinted the midfielder had an issue with his back. Read on here.
