European Christmas market that's all over TikTok with flights from £39

One of Europe's most popular Christmas markets is taking TikTok by storm - more than three months before December 25.

Krakow's Christmas Market is the subject of hundreds of thousands of videos on the social media platform, with many users raving about the food, stunning wintry scenes, and more. Located on Rynek Glowny, the 13th-century square in the centre of the old town, its stalls sit between the famous Cloth Hall and the imposing St Mary’s Basilica.

Some popular videos have been posted as early as June, with people quick to comment on how quaint and magical Krakow's Christmas market looks. And you can fly there from Manchester with easyJet for as little as £38.99 one-way.

The market runs from Friday, November 24, 2023, to January 1, 2024. easyJet flights start at £38.99 during this time period, with a flight at this price due to depart on December 31.

Earlier in the month, on December 3, you can get a one-way flight out for £70.99. Return flights start at £32.99 each. Alternatively, you can fly from Manchester to Krakow with Jet2 from £173 return during the time the markets are open, and your flights would then include 22kg hold baggage per person.

Ryanair also flies to Krakow, from both Liverpool and Manchester airports. Flights out to the Polish capital (during the Christmas market season) start from £36.99 while returns start at £25.13.
