FIFA president Gianni Infantino received a smattering of boos from an NFL crowd on Sunday.
Infantino was in attendance at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to watch the Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Jets.

But he wasn't exactly given the warmest of welcomes when his face popped up on the big screen inside the stadium, as a section of fans booed the controversial FIFA chief.
That's despite him being there to assess the AT&T ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is one of the stadiums that will host the tournament being held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The Texas-based arena, which has a capacity of 80,000, is one of the favourites to host the World Cup final in three years time.
However, despite being booed by fans there, Infantino appears to still be very impressed by the stadium, stating the AT&T and the United States' other venues are 'light years' ahead of those in other countries.
«Well this stadium is absolutely fantastic, the AT&T Dallas Stadium, it's incredible,» Infantino said in an interview on the field.
«It is incredible we are here of course because we organise a World Cup in a couple of years time and it's important to see all the stadiums and all the venues.
»It's important to see what is done for the fans and I have to say in America, you are light years ahead compared to the rest of the world.
«We are here to learn, we are here to check and we are here to organise the biggest FIFA World Cup
