Stand-in skipper James Singleton believes Glentoran can still nudge their way back into the title race.
The east Belfast team pocketed their first win in four League outings with this demolition of ailing Ballymena United at The BetMcLean Oval to help get them back on track.
It was a devasting 13-minute first-half bombardment that floored Jim Ervin’s troops, who are now level with Newry City at the bottom of the Sports Direct Premiership table.

Goals from Junior – who got two – Singleton and defender Aidan Wilson had the home fans celebrating at half-time, before David Fisher sealed the deal early after the restart.
Although Warren Feeney’s boys trail leaders Linfield by 12 points, Singleton insists they shouldn’t be written off.
“We are disappointed with our League position, but we are striving to get better every week,” said the former Glenavon man.
“People have already written us off, but it’s a long season and things can change quickly.
“Linfield looked to be running away with it, but look how close Larne have got to them. There is now only two points separating them, so it shows how things can change.
