Hugo Duro, Valencia's first winner of the Matchday 5 Decisive Player award

The former Real Madrid player wins the Decisive Player of Matchday 5 of the award given by MARCA and Socios.com

The Decisive Player of MARCA and Socios.com, the app that allows fans to participate in their team's decisions through Fan Tokens, has been selected by the votes of the readers in this Matchday 5 of LaLiga EA Sports.

Hugo Duro has been named the Decisive Player of Matchday 5 for the 2023/2024 season. He has been the most voted by MARCA users with 47% of the votes, with an impressive margin over Fran Garcia and Joao Felix, both with 25%.

A result that comes after the match he played against Atletico Madrid where he scored the first two goals and left everything on the pitch to get a victory at Mestalla.

At the end of the fifth matchday, Hugo Duro has a Decisive Player award to his name and joins Memphis Depay, Jude Bellingham, Saul Niguez and Toni Kroos in the overall ranking with one.

A table that will be expanded every weekend that there is a LaLiga match and that will not know for another week which player will be the sixth player to join them or if any of the other winners will be able to repeat the award.

On the other hand, Valencia have won their first Decisive Player of the Matchday in LaLiga since the award was created last year and, therefore, the first of the year.

Los Che are in third place behind Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, both of whom have two winners.

An award that leaves the Spanish capital for the first time so far this season.

All this in a team ranking where up to 10 clubs were represented by a player from their squad last season.
