Arsenal are set to return to Champions League action on Tuesday when they head to France to face RC Lens. The Gunners comfortably beat PSV in their group stage opener at Emirates Stadium and will be hoping to secure another away victory four days on from their 4-0 Premier League triumph over Bournemouth.
Mikel Arteta had a number of injury concerns heading into the game with Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and William Saliba all as doubts. However, the influential trio all started the clash and helped Arsenal stretch their unbeaten streak to 11 games in all competitions across both this and last season.
Despite Saka playing on the south coast and scoring, the Hale End graduate hobbled off and therefore remained as an injury worry ahead of a big week for the Gunners. Just a few days after Arsenal return from France, they welcome Manchester City to Emirates Stadium with an opportunity to leapfrog the reigning champions with a win.
However, first up Arsenal must bypass Lens in the Champions League with Arteta having one full training session before taking his squad overseas and football.london has now pulled together everything spotted from that session.
With so much focus on the possible injuries to William Saliba, Declan Rice and Saka, many would have forgot about the absent Thomas Partey. However, his availability looks set to change in the coming weeks following a training injury picked up in early September.
At London Colney on Monday morning, Partey was pictured in full team training with the Arsenal squad welcoming him back with several playful slaps to the head.
