England and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham is expected to be named winner of the 2023 Golden Boy award.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise to the top of football, with his 13 goals in just 14 Real Madrid appearances demonstrating just how impressive he is.
Just last month, the former Birmingham City starlet won the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d'Or awards, the prize for the best young player in the world.
Now, Bellingham is set to add another award to his growing trophy cabinet, the Golden Boy.
The gong, which is voted on by sports journalists, goes to the player under the age of 21 deemed to be the most impressive young male footballer playing in Europe.
There will be no official confirmation until December 4 when the results are delivered in Turin.
Bellingham will be the third Englishman to win the award after Wayne Rooney in 2004 and Raheem Sterling in 2014.
England will be without the midfielder for their remaining Euro 2024 qualifiers, with England in action against Malta on Friday and North Macedonia on Monday, live on talkSPORT.
Real Madrid's top scorer suffered a dislocated shoulder during the 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano earlier this month.
As a result, England's star has been left out of this month's dead-rubber qualifiers.
England achieved qualification for next summer's tournament in the last international break with a 3-1 win over Euro 2020 final foes Italy.
