Manchester United will be hoping they can make an impact in Europe's elite club competition as they embark on their first Champions League campaign since the 2021/2022 season.
Erik ten Hag's side have been drawn alongside Bayern Munich, Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen as they bid to make it through to the knockout rounds and challenge Manchester City for their European crown. Bayern will be particularly tricky opponents for United, especially now they can count on Harry Kane.
Since losing the Champions League final to Barcelona in 2011, United have only made the quarter-finals of the competition twice, albeit they have won the Europa League and got to another final of that tournament in that time, so this year Ten Hag will be hoping United can make an impact.
