Arsenal supporters have shown their love for club captain Martin Odegaard in the side's victory over Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday. The Norwegian international has become an undroppable force for Mikel Arteta since joining the Gunners, at first on a loan basis.
Odegaard joined in the second half of 2021 and despite the struggles the side faced, they were inclined to make the deal permanent in the summer. Just £30million was paid for the playmaker, a former wonderkid that hadn't quite reached the heights in his time with Los Blancos, but with plenty of time to hit that potential.
Since then, the midfielder has shown that he is one of the best in the Premier League and has become a key player for the Gunners in every facet. Last season saw the 24-year-old promoted to club captain, scoring 15 goals in 37 Premier League appearances on the way towards a title push.

After five games of this season, Odegaard has scored two goals as Arsenal have taken 13 points from a possible 15 on offer so far, with hopes of a potential title race. Showing their appreciation towards their captain, supporters of the Gunners sang a brand new chant for their captain.
To the tune of «Chase the Sun», the lyrics are: «Been dreaming all day, of our number eight, Martin Odegaard. Oi, oi, oi! When he's on the ball, he's f****** magical, Martin
