Footage captured the moving moment when the 42-year-old Duchess was reduced to tears as the crowd enthusiastically cheered with applause after she hugged and chatted to the winning competitors who received gold medals.

The Invictus Games, which were founded by Prince Harry in 2014, is a Paralympic-style sporting competition which sees injured ex-servicemen and women compete in a number of gruelling sport events.
The duke, 39, is said to have created the games after being inspired by the Warrior Games in Colorado.
The first ever Invictus Games were held in London in 2014 and Harry and Meghan chose to make their first public appearance as a couple at the Games in 2017, which were held in Toronto.
