This dashcam footage shows the moment a former Bolton Wanderers footballer ran from his Range Rover after a dramatic police chase.
Officers tried to pull over Gary Madine - who made 96 appearances for Bolton between 2015 and 2018 - in Gateshead in the early hours of the morning on April 3 this year, Chronicle Live reports. A court was told how the 33-year-old, who most recently played for Blackpool, realised he had been 'ridiculously stupid' after the footage caught him weaving in and out of parked cars on residential streets. He was banned from driving for a year.
