Harvey Elliott believes Mohamed Salah still doesn't get the credit he deserves as the midfielder revealed his wish to see the Egyptian stay at Liverpool "for the rest of his career".
Salah created two assists for Cody Gakpo and Andy Robertson in the 3-1 win over Wolves on Saturday lunchtime as the Reds extended their impressive start to their Premier League campaign.
It was a victory that briefly took them top of the table with 13 points from a possible 15 and Salah was close to notching up a hat-trick of assists after he supplied Elliott for a strike that was officially credited as an own goal for Hugo Bueno at Molineux.
Salah has two goals this term but has carved out as many as four assists for his team-mates to take his tally since the start of last season to 16 in total, which is the joint highest in the division alongside Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne.

The 31-year-old was the subject of a remarkable offer worth up to a potential £150m offer from Al-Ittihad in recent weeks and the Saudi Pro League champions are expected to return further down the line after seeing the offer rejected out of hand by Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon.
Elliott says he will try to convince Salah to stay on Merseyside for the remainder of his playing days and feels his colleague doesn't get full recognition for his creative talents.
