Former Bafana Bafana star Bryce Moon once used to bully the streets with a classic Mercedes Benz SLK, which was one of the fanciest convertibles you would see at the time. Here's a look!
The story
The former Panathinaikos defender enjoyed had a relative successful career, as he spent three years on the Greek outfit's books and played in the UEFA Champions League, where he notably came up against the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Luis Figo, Adriano, and Patrick Vieira in a game against Inter Milan in the 2008/09 season.
With the addition of a loan move to PAOK Thessaloniki, Moon would later move back to South Africa full-time in 2011 and had stints at SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits, and Mamelodi Sundowns, among others.

However, his return to local shores would be quite in style, as he would drive around in a vintage SLK. The classic roadster was first introduced by the German automaker in 1996 and it would serve as one of the leading premium convertibles thanks to it's exotic body, which features a retractable roof.
The "SLK" stood for sportlich (sporty), leicht (lightweight), and kurz (short) in German, however, it would later be SLC-Class in accordance to the facelift it received in 2016. SLKs were largely considered a striking sign of wealth, as prominent like Moon took a liking to it and could afford it.
