According to Fabrizio Romano , Gennaro Gattuso figures high on Torino FC’s shortlist for their next manager if the incumbent Ivan Jurić leaves in the summer.
Jurić has been with Torino since 2021 but has made it clear that he is willing to walk away from the club if they cannot secure European football. And with the club currently sat in 10th place then it appears that it could be a distinct possibility that during the summer Jurić will be gone.
With this in mind, Torino have begun preparing for a future without their Croatian manager, and are extremely interested in seeing if they can convince Olympique de Marseille and Gattuso to part ways.
Marseille have struggled since the start of the year under their manager but appear willing to trust that the former Italian midfielder can still meet their goals of securing European football, even if the Champions League now seems like a distant hope.
