A total of 2,000 police officers will form part of the security arrangements for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium on Wednesday, which has been classified as high risk.
According to the government in Madrid, the operation will be made up of agents from the National Police, the Municipal Police and the Madrid City Council's Mobility Department. It will also include medical staff from Samur-Proteccion Civil and the Red Cross, firefighters and security guards from the Madrid football club.
Around 76,000 people are expected to attend the match, which will be played from 21.00 CEST, of which 4,200 will be the fans of the German team who have tickets.
The Anti-Violence Commission has classified the match as high risk. In order to speed up the work of the agents, the Delegation recommends those attending the match to come to the stadium in advance to pass the established security controls.
