The PS2 is considered one of the best gaming consoles ever made. It has sold more than 158 million units and has 4,000 games, making it the console with the largest gaming library to date. While this large library for the PS2 is amazing to have, it's difficult to play these games as they are not as widely available as one would like to think.
Recently, rumors have been circulating that the PlayStation Plus Deluxe tier is going to get more PS2 games in the future because Sony has finally built a better emulator. The Deluxe tier has struggled to add games from the PS2 library because of emulator issues, which is why PSP versions are used instead.
Whether this rumor is true or not is a different subject, but if it is true, there are various PS2 classics that we would like to play on our PS5 through a PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscription. Here are five PS2 games we would like to see arrive on the PlayStation Deluxe tier.

The first ever God of War was released for the PS2 in 2005, and it started a franchise that the community loves. While today's generation has experienced God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarok on their PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, they are not familiar with Kratos's dark past in Greece. Experiencing the first God of War on the PS5 will be epic in its own right.
While the PS3 version of God of War is available on PS Plus to stream, this option is not available in all the regions around the world, which means it can be streamed only in selected countries. Adding the native PS2 version will let everyone experience the original God of War on their PS5 without any region-related issues.
