Manchester United supporters have welcomed the beginning of a 'new era' following sir Jim Ratcliffe's investment into the club.
Confirmation of Ratcliffe's investment into United was confirmed on Christmas Eve, more than 13 months after the Glazers initially announced their strategic review. The INEOS chief is believed to have put around £1.25billion into the club in return for a 25 per cent stake.

The Premier League's owners' and directors' test means it is unlikely Ratcliffe will be able to impact United's January transfer plans. But club chiefs insisted earlier this week that they are not expecting a busy month and Erik ten Hag has echoed those comments in press conferences.
Changes could be afoot among the hierarchy, however, with Richard Arnold already leaving his role as chief executive and sporting director John Murtough potentially following. Jean-Claude Blanc and Newcastle's Dan Ashworth are among a long list of links for those respective roles.
The news comes as a positive boost going into Christmas, following a terrible first-half of the campaign on the pitch.
