Arne Slot told to bring perfect midfielder with him to Liverpool
Former Feyenoord player Kaj Ramsteijn, believes Frenkie De Jong and Arne Slot would be a perfect match at Anfield, urging the soon-to-be Liverpool boss to sign the Barcelona midfielder.
As it stands, it is expected that Arne Slot will be named Liverpool’s new manager after the club reached an agreement with Feyenoord for him on Friday.
The Dutch side initially turned down Liverpool's offer of £7.7m as compensation. But the Reds then sweetened the deal with an additional £1.7m in add-ons, which Feyenoord found acceptable.

While there might be Feyenoord players links, Ramsteijn is confident that Liverpool should be looking for bigger and better.
He believes that 26-year-old midfielder, De Jong from Barcelona should be the person that they're looking for.
“Arne Slot to Liverpool, take Frenkie De Jong with you,” Ramsteijn told Voetbal Primeur.
“I would think that would be a nice club for him. I think Frenkie is so good that I want to see him play for trophies. Of course, he became champion last year, but if Real Madrid signs Kylian Mbappé next summer…
“Then they will become champions by a mile in the next five seasons. Especially given the financial situation of FC Barcelona.
“And the Premier League seems really fantastic to me. He can play anywhere. He gets the ball, turns away and creates a surplus.”
