Arsenal hit-kid ruled out for MONTHS as Motherwell provide injury update
Motherwell have confirmed that striker Mika Biereth will be out of action for up to three months with a knee injury sustained in the 1-0 Viaplay Cup second round defeat at St Mirren.
The 20-year-old Arsenal loanee was the victim of a heavy tackle from Saints defender Charles Dunne, which boss Stuart Kettlewell reckons should have resulted in a red card.
Motherwell say their loan agreement with Arsenal with regards to Biereth, which is season-long, hasn't changed as a result of the injury.
A statement issued by the Fir Park club read: "Scans have revealed a serious knee injury and means the striker will miss 12 weeks of the season.
"We wish Mika all the best in his recovery and look forward to seeing him back playing soon."
