UEFA has already informed Barcelona of the sanctions in relation to what happened in the second leg against Paris Saint-Germain, in which the Catalan side were eliminated. The Spanish club accumulates five matches of sanction plus Araujo's red card.
According to 'Relevo', Xavi Hernandez has been handed a two-match ban due to the vociferous protests, including kicking the fence where a camera was located. The Spanish coach is accused of "unsporting behaviour and inappropriate language".
Sergi Roberto, who was already suspended for that game, has been given a two-match suspension for going down on the pitch and protesting to referee Istvan Kovacs. Goalkeeping coach Jose Ramon de la Fuente has also been banned, although in this case with a one-match ban.
Moreover, UEFA has fined Barcelona around 60,000 euros - 26,000 euros for misconduct, 26,250 euros for throwing objects onto the pitch and 5,000 euros for pitch encroachment.
