Barcelona have finally let go of Brazilian forward Gustavo Maia after three unfruitful years at the club following his signature from Sao Paolo in 2020.
Under the former Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu, the Catalans paid a whopping sum of €4.5 million for the 22-year-old forward, who has failed to impress at Camp Nou.
According toForbes, Barcelona reached an agreement with Maia for the player's dismissal despite the Brazilian still having a contract until June 30, 2025.
