The German captain, who has been out of action following a skiing accident, has just handed Thomas Tuchel the perfect early-season boost the club would require as the transfer window draws the curtain.
According to reports from the club’s official website, the club said the 37-year-old shot-stopper took part in the club’s goalkeeper’s goalkeepers on Monday for the first time since breaking his leg in a skiing accident in December.
Nueuer’s return comes as a timely boost for the Bavarian side, who are in the market for a reliable replacement for their captain.
