Tottenham will look to continue their fantastic start to life under Ange Postecoglou as they take on Sheffield United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend. Spurs head into the clash off the back of a 5-2 thrashing of newly-promoted Burnley, their third straight win.
For Paul Heckingbottom's side, it's not been a nice return to the top flight having taken just one point from their opening four matches. A 2-2 draw at Everton before the international break will give them hope however that they can cause a big upset as they travel down south this weekend.
However, Spurs will want to make sure they keep on the heels of current champions and league leaders Manchester City, the only side above them in the table and won't want any unnecessary slip-ups. So, with that being said, football.london have taken a look at five things which stood out in training as Postecoglou's side prepare to take on the Blades this weekend.
Bentancur injury boost
Rodrigo Bentancur was spotted for the first time back on the training pitch as he continues recovering from a serious knee injury that has ruled him out since February. The midfielder was seen taking part in the warmup with the rest of his Spurs teammates before continuing his solo workouts.
The footage shows Bentancur working on his pass and move techniques before he took on a training dummy. In that drill, he turns with the ball, plays a one-two with a wooden block and calmly finishes into the back of a small net as he continues to work his way back up to full fitness.
