Borussia Dortmund are ready to bring Jadon Sancho back in January as he remains frozen out at Manchester United.
The winger's civil war with Erik ten Hag shows no sign of ending and the manager doesn't appear ready to back down on his stance, having refused to pick Sancho since he publicly challenged him on social media. It leaves the player poised for the exit door if United can find a buyer.
Dortmund previously got the best from Sancho during his four years in the Bundesliga and, despite previously denying their interest, could come to the table in the New Year with an offer, reports ESPN. The finances would have to work out for the German outfit if they were to strike a deal.
It would require the Premier League outfit to pay part of his £300,000-a-week wages. Sancho remains highly thought of at Dortmund, where he scored 50 times in 137 appearances, and is still in contact with coach Edin Terzic.
United are prepared to back Ten Hag over his handling of the Sancho situation with the manager showing how ruthless he can be on numerous occasions during his tenure at Old Trafford. Ten Hag claimed the player hadn't performed well enough in training to be selected for the trip to Arsenal on September 3.
Sancho said he had been made a "scapegoat" and questioned that statement in a post on social media, which could prove to be the end of his career in Manchester. The club are now willing to listen to offers for a player they paid more than £70m to sign less than three years ago.
