Botswana and Namibia drew 0-0 in the 2023 Cosafa Cup Group A match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Tuesday night.
The draw saw the Zebras of Botswana bow out of the regional tournament as they finished second in Group A - three points behind group winners, South Africa.
Namibia, on the other hand, ended their disappointing Group A campaign without a single win and they finished fourth with two points from three matches.
The two teams cancelled each other out in the opening proceedings with most of the ball being played in the middle of the park in a battle for control of the midfield.
Namibia and their neighbours struggled to create clear-cut chances in a closely contested first half.
Coach Collin Benjamin made a change prior to the start of the second half as he introduced attack-minded Revered Matroos with Namibia looking to break the deadlock.
Both teams launched attacks in the second half, but they failed to take their chances in front of goal and, ultimately, the match ended in a 0-0 draw as the two sides shared the spoils.
