Brennan Johnson and what Ange Postecoglou wants next on Tottenham's transfer deadline day
Tottenham Hotspur are entering the final hours of transfer deadline day and are still trying to work on various deals in and out of the club.
Spurs have agreed a deal worth over £45m for Nottingham Forest attacker Brennan Johnson and the 22-year-old Welshman is at Hotspur Way set to take his medical ahead of the move to join up with Ange Postecoglou's squad. football.london reported previously that Johnson was the Australian's top attacking target in these final weeks of the transfer window.
Tottenham have also moved some more players out of the door on Friday in the shape of Sergio Reguilon on loan to Manchester United and Japhet Tanganga on a loan to Bundesliga side Augsburg, who have an option to sign the defender permanently which becomes an obligation if certain conditions are met.
There are still other players linked with the exit door such as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez and some of those exits would spark moves for others such as Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, while Spurs have also looked at Bournemouth centre-back Lloyd Kelly among others.
