Chester races reveals exciting plans for families this May

Chester Races is set to host an exciting Roman Day event in partnership with Deva Fest on Saturday, May 25. The family-friendly event will feature a range of activities and entertainment.

Activities will include a Gladiator School where kids can train like gladiators and learn the art of combat, Roman-inspired food and drinks to try and other fun activities such as face painting and live music

Steve Davies, Chief Operating Officer at Chester Racecourse, said: "We're really excited to team up with Deva Fest for an incredible afternoon of family fun out on the Open Course. Roman Day is always an unmissable occasion, where you can race through history and immerse yourselves in an amazing line-up of entertainment and activities."

Tickets for Roman Day are on sale now, priced at £15 for adults and £10 for children. Children under the age of five go free, reports Cheshire Live

The fantastic SuperPirates will be dressing up in their gladiator outfits to perform storytelling sessions for children, as well as hosting family raves, obstacle courses and a variety of fun games.
