7. Jack Grealish - £100m, Aston Villa to Manchester City
Jack Grealish earnt himself a move to champions Manchester City after several outstanding years at boyhood club Aston Villa.
Though his first season was inconsistent if not an outright failure as he adapted to manager Pep Guardiola's exacting demands and style of play.
But in his second campaign in 2022-23, he played 50 games in all competitions and firmly cemented himself in the starting line-up ahead of Phil Foden, playing the entirety of the Champions League final victory as City secured a Treble.
Given he is just 27, he can be classed as a success - if not completely and utterly resounding, yet.

6. Antoine Griezmann - £107m, Atletico Madrid to Barcelona
Finishing third in the hugely prestigious Ballon d'Or in 2016 (behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi) and 2018 (behind Luka Modric and Ronaldo, respectively) was a big achievement for the little Frenchman.
