The purchase has been through Expressao Livre, a group of investors to which he belongs, of the company Cofina Media, which manages some Portuguese national newspapers such as Correio da Manha, Record or Jornal de Negocios.
The most interesting of all is that the former Manchester United player had some altercation with a television channel and a newspaper that belonged to this editorial group, specifically he sued them and made a boycott against them.
