Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos has interest from Crystal Palace as he prepares to end his loan at Nottingham Forest.
The Brazilian played just 97 minutes of first-team football since his move during the summer.
He featured during Forest's EFL Cup loss against Burnley in August and their 3-0 Premier League defeat by Liverpool in October.
Santos, 19, can only move to another team in England, as FIFA limit clubs to just seven overseas loanees, and Chelsea's spots are already filled.
Mauricio Pochettino's side signed the former Vasco de Gama for £18million in January 2023, beating several other Premier League sides to the race to sign him, including Manchester City and Newcastle.
He joined Forest in the summer of last year, but failed to receive game time under Steve Cooper, and has also not featured under their new boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
The 19-year-old received his first senior cap for Brazil last year, featuring in a 2-1 defeat by Morocco back in March.
Roy Hodgson, meanwhile, may look to Santos as midfield cover after Cheick Doucoure suffered a ruptured achilles in November that could rule him out for the remainder of the season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea winger Alex Matos is joining Huddersfield Town on loan but Zak Sturge has been recalled from Peterborough.
The 19-year-old Norwich Academy graduate joined Chelsea in the summer and made his Premier League debut for the club, coming on in their 2-0 win against Fulham back in October.
