Crystal Palace are in talks with Manchester United to sign goalkeeper Dean Henderson, according to reports.
Henderson spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest and appeared to burn his bridges with United after an explosive interview shortly after the move. The academy graduate played well at the City Ground but his season was cut short with a thigh injury that required surgery.
As a result, Henderson hasn't played since January but still expected to return to Forest this summer and MEN Sport reported in June he was 'perplexed' at the suggestion he would remain at Old Trafford. However, Forest instead opted to sign Matt Turner from Arsenal which has seemingly ended their interest.
It's understood that an injury to Tom Heaton means Henderson will likely stay at United as cover for Andre Onana and he has been on the bench for the first two games of the season.
Greenwood to leave United
However, according to the Evening Standard, Palace are interested in signing the England international on loan with an obligation to sign him permanently next summer. The London club are short on options between the sticks as Vicente Guaita is refusing to play after losing his No.1 spot to Sam Johnstone.
Meanwhile, according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, as cited by Get French Football News, Rennes are 'interested' in signing United defender Victor Lindelof.
It is claimed that the French outfit view Lindelof as a potential replacement for Arthur Theate, who is being linked with a collection of big-name clubs, including Liverpool.
The Swede is third choice at United currently but is popular with the French club. However, Hawkins admits Rennes could struggle to sign Lindelof because he is happy in Manchester.
