Daniel Levy has ignored Bayern Munich's 'deadline' for the Harry Kane deal and, according to the German press, has reacted in the most perfect way.
By going on holiday.
Reports this week claimed Bayern had given Spurs until midnight on Friday to respond to their final offer for the star striker.
The Bundesliga champions are thought to have bid £86million for the England captain in a take-it-or-leave-it deal to Tottenham.
talkSPORT understands the Premier League side are 'relaxed' about Kane's future, despite Bayern's attempts to hurry things along.
But, showing how unfazed Levy really is about the whole situation, German outlet Bild claim the 'ice-cold' Tottenham chief has 'deliberately lets the ultimatum pass'.
And he's apparently rubbed it in by jetting off to Miami to enjoy a holiday with his family — he will reportedly stay for just the weekend, while the rest of his family stay for two weeks.
The means that while Levy will be in the United States during the crunch period of the Kane saga, he'll be back in London in time for the start of the new Premier League season — which is the personal deadline Kane set for any deal to be done.
You've got to hand it to Levy, he's as tough as they come.
talkSPORT understands Kane is not actively trying and force a move away from his boyhood club this summer.
If his Bayern move is not sorted by the start of the 2023/24 campaign, it is understood the 30-year-old will to stay at White Hart Lane for the last year of his contract and leave for free next summer — unless he decides to sign a new contract, that is.
However, Spurs have been told they'd be stupid to turn down £86m for their star man who could leave for nothing in 12 months.
