In a recent press conference, West Ham United manager David Moyes confirmed that Marseille have made an offer for Saïd Benrahma (28). Foot Mercato first reported that OM had submitted a loan offer with an option to buy for the West Ham attacking midfielder.
Speaking about the offer in a press conference, David Moyes said “It is true that Marseille made a loan offer (for Saïd Benrahma). I didn’t know about it after the match. As far as I know, the offer was rejected.” The former Manchester United manager has confirmed initial reports that the East London club rejected the first offer from Marseille for the Algerian international.
Benrahma is not short of suitors in the January transfer window, even if Marseille are the only club to make an official offer to West Ham thus far. Brentford, Wolves and Lyon are also interested in the 28-year-old, according to Foot Mercato. Despite no offer being accepted for Benrahma, a return to Brentford or Ligue 1 could still be on the cards.
