Declan Rice has divulged the Arsenal star that has quickly become his best buddy, and fans might be surprised.
The England international is the biggest signing of the summer in the Premier League after making the move from West Ham to Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta was desperate to land his man and forked out £105million for his services, beating Manchester City to his signature.
And Rice has already made an impression at the club after joining them on tour of the United States.
Jetting around the country can be tough work, but the 24-year-old has found good company with a surprise star — Leandro Trossard.
When asked about who he's been getting on best with, Rice said: «Yeah, you know what, from the first day I was there, Leandro Trossard.
»You wouldn't put us two together but he's like a really, really top guy.
«I sat next to him on the plane and I've been with him here quite a lot, he's just an all-round top person. I've really got on with him.
»And playing against him in the past as well, he was always a pain so it's nice to have him on my side now, such a top player."
Rice would have known a handful of players before making the switch across London this summer.
In the England camp, the midfielder knows Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka and Ben White.
And he and Eddie Nketiah came up through the Chelsea academy together, meeting each other aged nine.
But, like Rice, Trossard is a new face at Arsenal in recent times after signing from Brighton in January.
The Belgium international has proved an instant hit with fans after a fine spell, immediately making an impact.
In 22 appearances, he registered 10 assists as the Gunners challenged City for the Premier League crown, falling at the final hurdle.
