Diego Carlos has voiced his opinion on the contentious VAR decision that left Chelsea feeling aggrieved after their match at Villa Park ended in a draw on Saturday evening.

After a corner kick, Axel Disasi's header hit the crossbar and crossed the line after bouncing off Olsen, but the VAR team disallowed the goal, citing a foul on Carlos inside the penalty area. Despite being shoved in the back by Benoit Badiashile, which hindered him before the Chelsea player set up Disasi for the header, the VAR call has sparked debate across social platforms.

Carlos weighed in on the discussion, responding to Match of the Day's Instagram post that questioned: «Right decision? A last-gasp Chelsea winner was ruled out because of a foul by Benoit Badiashile.» The Villa centre-back made his stance clear, saying: «If that wasn't a foul, I don't know what was!»
