England fans are convinced Mason Mount will be in England's squad for Euro 2024 after he was pictured in the side's new kit.
The midfielder hasn't played for his country in over a year, his last cap coming in the 2022 World Cup quarter-final defeat to France, struggling with form and injury since the competition.
He was left out of the squad in the last international break - the final one before manager Gareth Southgate names his provisional squad for the summer's tournament, and has recently returned from a long injury lay-off.
Mount looked to have scored a winner for Manchester United against Brentford at the weekend, slotting in in extra time to announce his return to action with a bang but for Kristoffer Ajer to equalise moments later.
And supporters reckon he has a chance of making the summer's squad after he was spotted at the recent kit launch, donning the new strip despite not currently being part of the squad.
'Didn't notice before now but Mason Mount was at the England kit launch (with a wholesome hug for fellow United no. 7 Ella Toone),' one fan posted on X, formerly Twitter. 'Not seen him in anyone's predicted Euros squad but if he has a strong end of the season it wouldn't surprise me.. he's top class and a Southgate fave!'
Another posted: 'Southgate watched Gallagher for a week and decided it's Mount time,' while a third added: 'He's going to the euros Southgate loves him.'
Mount was snapped in England's new purple kit on TikTok, despite having made just 14 club appearances this season.
He was a vital part of Southgate's plans before injury, picking up a total of 36 caps for his country since debuting in 2019, all coming under Southgate.
