Everton have learned the outcome of their case for allegedly breaching the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), with a further two-point deduction.
The Blues set out their position in a three-day hearing last month and the verdict has been confirmed on Monday with the timeframes set out in the Premier League handbook be adhered to.
It was the third time Everton representatives have argued over the intricacies of the club’s finances during this season. There will be a fourth such occasion should the club decide to appeal the outcome.
Everton were previously handed a 10-point deduction for breaching the league's financial rules which was reduced to six on appeal.
