Hello and welcome to the ECHO's coverage of Sean Dyche's press conference to preview Everton's clash with Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday.
The match will be the final home game of the 2023-24 season for the Blues and there is a fine chance to send supporters away happy against the rock-bottom side in the division.
Sheffield United's 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest last weekend saw them reach a landmark 100 goals conceded in the top flight this term. Everton will be hoping to capitalise on what has frequently been a catastrophic defensive setup.
As the end of the season nears, there will no doubt be questions to answer over the future of a number of players. Club captain Seamus Coleman is out of contract at the end of the campaign and no update has been issued on his future yet.
Dyche will likely be quizzed on more matters off the pitch though, with more concerning developments this week regarding 777 Partners' prospective takeover of the club. Farhad Moshiri held face-to-face talks with the American firm this week, as questions continue to be raised about their ability to fund the purchase.
Chris Beesley will be in attendance at Finch Farm to speak to the Everton boss and provide live updates.
