Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC have appointed former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Gamondi to lead the team this coming season.
Gamondi replaces Nasreddine Nabi, who is understood to be close to finalizing a deal with Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs.

The Argentine has signed a two-year deal with CAF Confederation Cup finalists after he was unveiled during the club’s annual general meeting held at Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
Yanga boss Hersi Said confirmed the appointment of Gamondi.
“Gamondi is our new coach. He is a great coach and we happy to have him on board,” Said told KickOff.

Migual Gamondi arrived at Mamelodi Sundowns in 2005 after he was ecruited by Angel Cappa as his assistant before winning the league trophy in 2007 while working alongside Neil Tovey as co-coaches.
The 56-year-old coach has also coached Platinum Stars, USM Alger and CR Belouizdad, among other teams during his coaching career in Africa.
