Fabinho looks set to complete his move to Saudi Arabian champions Al-Ittihad after being left out of Liverpool's pre-season trip to Singapore.
The deal had been delayed as talks between the two clubs stalled over the payment structure of the deal. However, according to The Athletic it seems a resolution has been found Fabino won't travel to Singapore with the rest of the squad.
The Brazilian's impending move comes hot on the heels of Jordan Henderson's exit from the club to Al-Ettifaq, with the England midfielder confirming his exit from the club after 12 years.
Fabino was targeted by Al-littihad in a £40m move, as the Saudi Pro League sides continue to dominate the summer transfer window.
They have already added Chelsea's N'Golo Kante, Jota of Celtic and Real Madrid star Karim Benzema to their ranks, and Fabinho will be the latest to join the club.
The Saudi club's move for the 29-year-old saw Jurgen Klopp leave the player behind as the club went on a summer training camp to Germany.
They returned to the UK on Monday and will now embark on a week-long trip to Singapore, where they'll play Leicester and Bayern Munich, without the Brazilian midfielder.
Fabinho moved to Anfield from Monaco in 2018 and has been part of Klopp's conquering side that have won every major trophy. He has made 219 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals.
Attention will now turn to a replacement for Fabinho in the Reds midfield, with Southampton's Romeo Lavia the club's number one target.
Liverpool have already had a £37m bid turned down by the Saints for the 19-year-old, but talks are on-going with the Championship side and there is a belief a deal will get done.
