Speculation has intensified over the course of the week with regards to Liverpool's senior cohort of midfielders, as Fabinho and Jordan Henderson have been linked with lucrative offers from the Saudi Pro League.
The former is reportedly a target for Al Ittihad, a club managed by ex-Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo which has so far tempted France internationals Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante away from Europe.
Claims have been made that representatives have been in touch with the Brazilian, though as of Friday lunchtime the Reds have received no official approach.
Fabinho signed a five-year deal on Merseyside in August 2021, a little over three years since initially signing from Monaco, and following an upturn in form following Jurgen Klopp's tweaked formation towards the end of last season his future remains unclear.

Fabinho transfer to Saudi Arabia starts to make sense as Liverpool link emerges
However, eagle-eyed fans have spotted a hint that the midfielder - and his family - may be considering what a future in the Middle East would look like.
This is because Rebeca Tavares, Fabinho's wife, follows a travel company called 'Welcome Saudi' on Instagram.
The page's bio reads: "The No.1 Travel Search and Review Website in Saudi Arabia.
"Discover the Best Hotels, Restaurants and Tourist Destinations in Saudi Arabia," and posts regular photographs highlighting Jeddah, the Red Sea city in which Al Ittihad are based.
It remains to be seen how the Fabinho situation pans out. Speaking to the club website recently, the Brazilian was asked about the process of 'building something new' at Liverpool this season.
"Yes, football is like this," Fabinho replied.
