Farhad Moshiri must be stronger and ask blunt question over Everton takeover and 777 Partners

The continuing wait over the Everton takeover situation is another frustration that the fans could do without. When the deal was struck we were told it should be a 12-week turnover.

Is it going to be a yes? Is it going to be a no?

Who is to blame for this delay? As Evertonians we’ve been calling out the Premier League all season but if they’re not getting the answers they need, it’s up to 777 Partners to give them what they want.

If they’re not doing that then Farhad Moshiri needs to be stronger and say to them: ‘I own a football club, do you want this?’ If they do want it then they need to give the Premier League what they need, it’s not rocket science.

What we keep hearing about 777 doesn’t seem positive. The reports coming out from what they have done at other football clubs doesn’t get you excited.

If they want to become the owners of our beloved football club, they need to go to hell and back to do everything they can to please the Premier League. If they can’t then they need to step away.

The Fan Advisory Board have sent their letter because once again there has been no communication. I get that those involved might not be able to say certain things but we need clarity.

We want this situation over and done with. We’ve got players whose contracts are running out and others who we need to bring in over the summer, Kevin Thelwell has to start organising our transfer policy but everything is unknown and up in the air because the takeover is dragging on.
