Manchester City will be hoping to add the final European trophy to their collection when they take part in the Club World Cup this year.
City have enjoyed a stunning 2023, winning both the Champions League and the Super Cup for the first time in their history.
Their European success has led them to make their inaugural appearance in the esteemed Club World Cup.
The FIFA tournament sees the winners of the six continental confederations compete for tournament glory alongside the host nation's league champions.
City will now look to become only the fourth Premier League team to win the competition after Man United (2008), Liverpool (2019), and Chelsea (2021).
The 2023 tournament will start on Tuesday, December 12 and run until Friday, December 22.
The 20th edition of the Club World Cup will be played in Saudi Arabia.
This will be the last seven-team Club World Cup before the tournament isexpanded to 32 teams in 2025.
Real Madrid are the reigning Club World Cup victors after claiming a record fifth title last year.
But City usurped them as UEFA's representative after eliminating Los Blancos en route to winning the 2023 Champions League.
The Etihad outfit will enter the competition at the semi-final stage, with their first match taking place on Tuesday, December 19.
The game will take place at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, with kick-off scheduled for 9pm UK time.
The final will then be held three days later at the King Abdullah Sports City in the same Saudi city.
All matches are set to be broadcast live on Fifa+, the streaming service from the game’s governing body, once again.
City will take part in the Club World Cup following their 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final in June.
