While many of us may have believed you can't take your own food and drinks into cinemas, a number of major chains have actually said they have no problem with this.
This will likely come as good news for people who are trying to make their money go as far as it can, as cinema trips can soon add up if you start buying popcorn, drinks and other snacks. Food and drink items are usually hugely marked up from what they'd cost in a supermarket.
The ECHO previously reported that some cinema chains allow customers to bring their own snacks, treats and beverages with them.

Vue, Odeon, Cineworld and Showcase each said they had no problem with filmgoers bringing refreshments. But some items are a total no-go.
Vue does not allow customers to bring any hot food or any alcoholic drinks. Aside from this, though, "if film fans would prefer, they can bring in their own cold snacks and non-alcoholic drinks".
Similarly, Odeon visitors are prohibited from bringing any heated food, "pungent food", or alcoholic drinks. Additionally, the Odeon Islington Luxe & Dine, in London, does not allow you to take your own food.
Showcase, which has just 17 cinemas in the UK, said it does not allow guests to bring "hot food, alcoholic beverages and drinks in glass containers into our buildings".
Cineworld's website says it "has a strict NO HOT FOOD OR ALCOHOL policy", adding: "We reserve the right to refuse customers entry into the screens with hot food or alcohol bought outside the premises. All our cinemas display the necessary signage, advising customers
